Persephone is the goddess of the underworld in Greek mythology.
She is the daughter of Zeus and Demeter, goddess of the harvest. This is my entry for =lryiu's Contest [link] I normally don't discourage critiques but I painted and airbrushed my a** off on this one. I know it may be not perfect but I'm somehow happy with it. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I personally think you did a very very good job! The story is all right there in the piece! I think the touch of an almost pomigranit color around the eyes to be an excellently subtle, yet powerful way of portraying Persephone. I could go on, but er...yeah that would be going more indepth. But it'd all be positive!
